From tiny, wiggly puppies just beginning to make sense of the world, to dogs navigating big feelings, her approach has always centered around empathy, clarity, and trust. Certified through the Karen Pryor Academy (KPA-CTP) and holding credentials including Fear Free Certified Trainer, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KSA, and CPACM, Steph brings both a deep well of knowledge and a thoughtful, intuitive presence to every session. It’s about creating moments where puppies feel safe, seen, and understood. 

Elissa is the owner of Paws Together and brings a science-based approach to dog training that emphasizes observation, pattern recognition, and the unique bond between each dog and their person. Certified as a Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and Professional Canine Trainer - Accredited (PCT-A), she helps you and your dog develop a shared language through positive reinforcement and clear communication, rather than simply teaching commands. Elissa transforms challenging behaviors into opportunities for deeper connection, cultivating joyful relationships built on trust and compassionate training.
